After Madaba, we'll go to St. George's Church to see the famous sixth-century mosaic map of Palestine. After that, we'll take a break at the Dead Sea. The site is at the lowest point on Earth, and because it is full of minerals, it has become a kind of health spa. Minerals in the mud are used both in medicine and in beauty products. Legend says that both Cleopatra and Sheba knew how important the site was and used it to their advantage. It's easy to float in the Dead Sea, which gets its name from the fact that there is no life in the water because it is so salty. Be ready to lounge around in the mud before you go back to Amman.

Day 6: Ancient City of Petra Tour

Our driver will pick you up in our air-conditioned car and take you about 2.5 hours to get to Petra, which is Jordan's most popular tourist spot. The city was built by Nabataean Arabs in the sixth century B.C. It has beautiful facades cut into the rock cliffs. From the tourist center, it's a 700-meter walk to the entrance of the Siq, a stunning 1,200-meter canyon with a rainbow of colors that rises 80 meters above you. As soon as you come out of the abyss, Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, takes your breath away with its beauty. After spending time in Petra, you walk back to Amman through the Siq.
