    There are 9 countries that are allowed entry to Egypt without a visa (visa-free) for 3 months:

    Lebanon

    Countries Can Have A Free Visa to Egypt According to Certain Conditions

    Algeria 

    It is provided for being aged 14 years and below.

    Jordan 

    is provided if holding a normal 5-year passport, and the passport does not contain a stamp from the Jordanian Registration Office on the reverse side cover of the passport (on page 60).

    Libya

    It is provided being a female national or for residents of Butnan District on Sundays and Mondays

    Afghanistan

    It is provided for being aged 50 years and above or 16 years and below.

    Lebanon

    It is provided if being aged 50 years and above or 16 years and below (for all of Egypt), the visa is not required for Alexandria and South Sinai (for all ages)

    Morocco

    It is provided for being aged 14 years and below.

    South Sudan

    It is provided for being aged 50 years and above or 16 years and below or being a female.

    Sudan

    It is provided for being aged 50 years and above or 16 years and below or being a female.

    Tunisia

    It is provided for being aged 50 years and above or 16 years and below.

    Yemen

    It is provided if being aged 50 years and above or 16 years and below or traveling for medical reasons.

    China

    It is provided holding a return ticket, an upper-class hotel reservation, and an equivalent of USD 2000.

    Travelers can obtain a tourist visa on arrival at any airport terminal in Egypt. The visa on arrival allows the visitor 30 days in Egypt, In order to obtain it:

    • You have to be one of the eligible countries.
    • Also, have a passport with six months remaining.
    • You will need to pay the usual visa fee of 25$ USD in cash (credit and debit cards are not accepted) at the Egyptian Airport, so make sure to have cash money on you at all times. Eligible travellers are able to pay the fee in either US dollars, Euros, or British Pounds, and are advised to arrive at the Egyptian point of entry of their choice with the exact change to avoid delays.

    Egypt has increased its number of nationalities able to receive Egypt visas upon arrival to Egypt to more than 180 nationalities, as long as they have a valid and used visa on their passports for:

    The term “e-Visa” refers to an electronic visa that may be obtained online for either a single-entry or multiple-entry visa. A 30-day maximum stay is permitted in Egypt with a single entry visa, with a six-month validity period starting on the day of issuance.
    Travelers who want to leave and enter Egypt often may do so with an Egyptian visa. Multiple entries are permitted throughout three months with Egypt’s multiple-entry access, provided that no more than 30 days are spent. The prerequisites for an Egyptian e-visa are:

    • Own a current passport with at least eight months left on it after the date of admission.
    • Fill out the online application completely and accurately.
    • You may use a credit or debit card to pay the e-Visa charge.
    • Upload a scan of your passport’s front page.
    • To show the e-Visa at the Egyptian border upon arrival, print a copy of it.

    You should apply seven days before you go to Egypt, and it will take about five business days to get your visa. The e-Visas can be single-entry (for stays of up to 30 days) or multiple-entry (for stays of more than 30 days) (valid for up to 90 days). The E-Visa is also open to people from the following countries:

    Egypt Transit Visa

    Do I need a visa to pass through Egypt?

    A transit visa is a special visa that lets a person move through a country without waiting for a turn. The traveler will only be able to stay in the country for a certain amount of time to change flights to get to their final destination outside the country that gave them the visa.
    If the traveler plans to change flights in Egypt on the way to another place, they may need an Egyptian transit visa to leave the airport and legally travel through Egypt. A transit visa is not required if the traveler is only at the airport for a few hours.

    What do you need to get a transit visa for Egypt?

    A valid passport from a country that is allowed
    A valid ticket for the next leg of the trip is proof of the traveler’s plans.

    Without a Transit Visa, going through Egypt, Many people from other countries may be able to pass through Egypt for up to 48 hours without a visa. Eligible people can leave the airport and see what’s around it if they have between 6 and 48 hours before their next flight. If a traveler has less than 6 hours to wait for their next flight, they must stay at the airport.
