Day 1: Welcome to Amman
Your tour manager will meet you at Amman International Airport and help you get your trip started. The last part of your trip is getting from the airport to your hotel in Amman in a private car with air conditioning. His job is to help you check into the hotel and tell you how to get to Amman, where you will spend the night during your next trip.

Day 2: Visit Jerash - Transfer to the Dead Sea
After breakfast, you'll be driven north to the old city of Jerash, which is on the slopes of Mount Gilead and reminds people of the Roman Empire. Roman architecture at the site shows how beautiful the colonnaded road, Oval Plaza, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis were. We'll drive to the Dead Sea for our next stop. Since it is the lowest point on Earth and has many minerals with healing properties, it has become a popular place for health spas. Minerals in the mud are used both in medicine and in beauty products. Legend says that both Cleopatra and Sheba knew how important the site was and used it to their advantage. The Dead Sea got its name because it is so salty that nothing can live in it. If you stay at a Dead Sea Hotel for the night, it's easy to float around.

Day 3: Dead Sea to Petra Tour
You will go to Petra, Jordan's most famous site, after breakfast to see ancient wonders. Petra was built in the 6th century BC by the Nabateans, a nomadic tribe that settled in the area and built a trading empire that reached as far as Syria. Before you can get to the Treasury, you have to ride your horse across the Siq, which is a canyon. Some of the most important places you'll see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh's Castle. Petra was where I was going to stay for the night.
Meals: Breakfast
Day 4: Petra – Wadi Rum Tour - Wadi Rum
Start your day by driving through the lunar landscape of Wadi Rum. You'll see old riverbeds and wind-carved mountains, as well as wide views of the desert and soft, pastel-colored sand dunes. At the "Beau Geste" station, legionnaires in long skirts serve coffee with cardamom. Take a two-hour jeep tour of the oasis that was the setting for the movie Lawrence of Arabia. An experience that really is "out of this world"! We will go back to the Bedouin camp for dinner and to sleep.
Meals: Breakfast
Day 5: Wadi Rum - Final Departure
We'll drive you to Wadi Rum after breakfast, and then back to Amman so you can catch your flight.
